In memory of Frankie Petillo Jr., this year's Stafford Township's Bunny Hop 5K run/walk will benefit the Frankie Foundation.

Southern Regional recent grad, Frankie Petillo was taken in the prime of his life by an irresponsible college student driver while walking on campus.

Frankie lived life to its fullest and The @Frankie_Foundation_ mission is to help others by raising money in order to support local students that are active in dance, theatre and the arts by offering multiple scholarships each year to local music/dance schools and high school seniors who demonstrate Frankie's selfless inspirational spirit.
 

The Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run & Walk will be held on March 24, 2024 in Manahawkin!
The annual event is hosted by Stafford Township and Frankie Foundation as part of the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign.

STAFFORD, NJ – Mark your calendars! Frankie Foundation, an Ocean County based non-profit organization, will co-host with Stafford Township Mayor Robert Henken, the Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run and Walk at the Stafford Township Municipal Complex in Manahawkin on Sunday, March 24, 2024!  

“At the Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run and Walk, the community can come together to get active and help those students that might need assistance with tuition, school fees and registrations and find out how they can help. Community support is a priority to our mission”, said Frank A. Petillo, Sr., Executive Director of The Frankie Foundation. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Frankie Foundation's programs and scholarships, helping local students facing economic hardships that need assistance with tuitions and registrations.

Walk and Run participants have the opportunity to set individual fundraising goals in support of The Frankie Foundation. Sponsorship opportunities are also available starting at $250. “Please consider offering your support, whether it is through a financial donation, sponsorship, running or walking, or volunteering at the event. Each person makes a difference in the foundations mission” said Frankie's Dad.

Fun Run and Walk registration and packet pick up begins at 7 a.m. on March 24th at the Stafford Township Municipal Complex located at 260 East Bay Avenue in Manahawkin. A registration fee of $35 is required to participate in both the Fun Run and Walk.
